Our organization is seeking a Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be skilled in project setup and oversight, budget management, documentation/reporting, safety practices and basic heavy machine knowledge and managing workflow and milestones.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Project planning and coordination
- Provide leadership and direction to team members
- Follow current job workflows and continually improve job processes to provide job efficiencies
- Ability to clearly communicate and work closely with management
- Maintain a clean, safe, work area in compliance with company/customer & OSHA standards
- Project workflow experience is necessary and demolition workflow is beneficial
- Ability to understand technical drawings
- Knowledge of the machines and tools needed to successfully and safely complete projects
- Understanding of scrap metal and recyclable materials
- Ability to report on job metrics and job progress
Requirements
- Project management experience with construction project management preferred
- Experience managing a team
- Long-term travel 50-79%
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally with employees, external vendors, owners, and management
- Computer/tech skills required-Microsoft Office, job site reporting apps and project management software
- Organized and clean work
- Problem-solving mindset
- An understanding of how the equipment functions and maintenance of such equipment used in demolition
- Ability to travel, work overtime and weekends and stay on jobsite for duration of projects
